We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and deliver our recruitment strategy across the firm. This is a pivotal role responsible for attracting exceptional legal and operational talent, supporting ambitious growth plans, and enhancing our reputation as an employer of choice within the legal sector.

The successful candidate will partner closely with senior leaders, hiring managers, and external recruitment agents to identify, attract, and secure high-calibre talent at all levels, from early careers through to partner recruitment.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future talent strategy of a growing and ambitious firm. You will work closely with senior leaders, influence workforce planning and recruitment strategy, and support a culture that attracts, develops and retains exceptional people.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with senior leaders to identify strategic hiring opportunities and support business growth.
  • Leading recruitment campaigns for fee-earners, operational teams, lateral partners and senior solicitors.
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers, recruitment agencies and search partners.
  • Developing talent pipelines and proactive sourcing strategies for key legal and operational roles.
  • Supporting early careers recruitment, including trainee solicitor and apprenticeship programmes, in partnership with Learning & Development.
  • Producing recruitment MI, reports and market insights to inform decision-making and improve performance.
  • Providing intelligence on legal market trends, salary benchmarking, competitor activity and talent availability.
  • Strengthening the firm's employer brand through attraction campaigns, careers events and employee value proposition initiatives.
  • Enhancing the candidate journey to ensure a positive, professional and engaging recruitment experience.
  • Ensuring all recruitment activity is compliant with legal, regulatory and internal governance requirements.
  • Supporting the firm's Equity, Diversity and Inclusion objectives by promoting fair and inclusive recruitment practices.

 

About You

  • Significant talent acquisition or recruitment management experience, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Experience recruiting senior legal professionals, including partner-level appointments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of recruitment best practice, attraction strategies and talent market trends.
  • A proactive, commercially focused approach with excellent organisational skills.
  • A strong commitment to candidate experience, inclusion and continuous improvement.
