We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Employment team, supporting our Hull office while working closely with colleagues across the wider firm.

Our Employment team is ranked Tier 1 in The Legal 500, a testament to the quality of our work, depth of expertise, and strong client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded team, offering high-quality work, strong collaboration, and a supportive environment.

You will play a key role in supporting the Employment team, working alongside experienced colleagues on a broad range of matters while continuing to develop your own caseload and client relationships.

Our Employment team advises a diverse client base ranging from SMEs through to household names and PLCs across multiple sectors, including education, agriculture, food, public authorities, and the third sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a technically varied employment caseload
  • Deliver high-quality, client-focused legal advice
  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and marketing activities
  • Work closely with Partners and senior colleagues on more complex matters
  • Assist in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
  • Maintain strong financial discipline, including time recording and billing
