Whether you’re starting out in law or looking to take the next step in your career, our Wills, Estates & Tax Planning team in Lincoln is looking for a motivated Paralegal to help us deliver exceptional service to our private clients.

This is an excellent opportunity to build your experience in a highly respected team, working on a varied and interesting caseload while receiving structured training and support.

What you’ll be doing

As a Paralegal in our team, you will play an important role in supporting fee earners and ensuring our clients receive a high-quality, professional service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking initial client instructions and accurately briefing the appropriate fee earner
  • Assisting fee earners in conducting client meetings and taking notes where required, assisting the fee earners to follow up on client meetings
  • Managing files or parts of files under supervision and acting in a client’s best interests at all times.  Where appropriate undertaking work on files under supervision
  • Maintaining accurate daily time recording to capture the value being delivered to clients.
  • Handling both routine and complex client enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Assisting the team with administrative tasks essential to the efficient running of the team and the services delivered to clients

  • Someone who adopts a practical, client-focused approach to problem‑solving
  • Confident using IT systems and quick to learn new tools

This role is ideal for someone who has studied law or has a genuine interest in developing a legal career as well as those with strong administrative experience who are looking to move into a legal support position.
